Basic Computer Organisation:
The major basic components of a computer are listed below as follows
Input Unit :
The input unit is used to send information to the computer. The data received from the input unit is immediately stored in the main memory.
Example: Keyboard, Mouse, Trackball, Joystick...
Output Unit:
The output unit of a computer provides the information and results of a computation to the outside world.
Example: Monitor, Printer, Projectors...
Central Processing Unit:
It takes care of the data processing with the help of memory unit, control unit and arithmetic & logic unit. It is responsible for all the operations happening inside the computer.

Physical Components of a Computer:
The physical components can be majorly classified as following
Hardware:
The components inside a computer which we can touch and feel are called as hardware components.
Example: Keyboard, Mouse, Processor, Monitor...
Software:
It is a set of instructions which are used to instruct the hardware to perform operations.
1. System Software - It is used to control and coordinate the entire computer. Example - Operating system, drivers...
2. Application Software - It is used to perform a particular task. Example - MS Office, Tally, Chrome...
